Bob, I have owned a 1963 coupe for 31years. VIN # 887448. Very close to yours. I took it out of storage the last two years and have continued the restoration process I began a long time ago. Final stage is the interior. I have no lid for the parcel luggage area directly behind the seats. I bought one on Ebay but it seems to be from an earlier car. As I've come to find out there were 3 different sizes. I was wondering if you might be able to help me by telling me the lenght and the width of this lid in enough detail so that I would be able to fabricate one. The studs for holding the lid down are 51/2" in from the sides of the car. It seems others are located only an inch or so from the outside. Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, George

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
