Details
Offered here is a LHD, 3.8 FHC, which came off the Browns Lane production line on the 3rd December 1962. Within a week it was on its way to America, where it remained until November 1998. It was then imported, from California, into the UK and has been in the same ownership ever since.

During the intervening 11 years, the car has been meticulously restored and is now presented in outstanding condition throughout. The shell was said to be rust free when stripped, due to its cosseted life the California sunshine and is now finished in black, which was an option up to 1963.

Equipped with the fabulous 3.8 XK engine, triple 2" SU carbs, 4-speed manual transmission, a Salisbury limited slip differential and that beautiful slippery Malcolm Sayer body, this E-Type is described as being in good to excellent condition throughout.

Finished in black with black interior and sitting on chrome wire wheels, this E-Type requires nothing other than a new and appreciative owner.

Estimate £28000-34000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
