Current bid $7,800.00 (Reserve not met), 17 bids, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Girls always smile! Here is your chance to own one of the most beautiful cars in the world. This 64 isn’t a top level show car but is perhaps one level down. It’s never been “Restored” and doesn’t really need it. It’s near mechanically perfect, very original. (Except for the later 4.2 engine and full syncro gearbox, seats and steering wheel thanks to a previous owner). It still has the 1964 black California license plate. The car doesn’t over heat and the cabin is relatively cool for an E Type. The Engine compression is fine, no knocks, and no smoke. The original color was white, now silver. It’s amazing but there is no rust! Never was. It’s a joy to remove suspension bolts without a fight. I personally think buying a car off of E Bay is a miserable way to buy a car. You really should drive it and give it a good look over first. If you’re anywere close I would suggest seeing it in person but if you’re far, far away, then I can arrange for an inspection. Please call first so we can discuss the car in detail. I’m not in the car business but have owned English cars all my life. My reserve price is significantly less then my asking price. If you’re looking for a dependable E Type that’s fast, stops straight and is fully sorted then this one is for you. 64 Jaguar E Type. Vin; 888680 New stuff; Radiator. Cylinder head completely rebuilt. Springs. Dampers. Diff seals and bearings. Half shaft u joints. Break pads. Distributor. Ignition wires. Battery Alternator. Tyres. Headlights (For separate bulbs). Head liner. It needs: Clock. Odometer. Carpet in the back. Two broken spokes on the rear wheel. Wheel is straight. Glass headlight cover. It’s Plexiglas now. Small dents on front wing.

Does any one know the history on this car? My dad owned a 1964 just like this one. It was purchased from Frank Millard "The Man in Red" in encino CA new. My Dads car had the dealer installed A/C. The vents where in the center console. Please e-mail with info. Thanks Ron Avery
