Just purchased from 30+ year owner. Some modifications include 4.2 head, series 2 radiator ass'y and later gearbox. Needs interior work and overall refreshing but a strong driver that has been maintained and worked on over it's much travelled history. No evidence of collosion. Seems to be originally black from internal body paint but original interior color is unknown since none were black/black.

It's a special order Black/Black car. As of June 2011, it's slowly reverting back to mostly original specification. Wood dash is back to metal, reinstalling propeller fan, washer bottle, fixed numerous wiring issues. Still need a S1 radiator and tank, radio console and to fix more wiring issues. Still has the J64 metal tag from California.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
