I've owned the car since late 80's after purchase from NY owner. Car had usual but light rust & sills were replaced along with sill interior structure. Some common wheel arch patches were applied. Bonnet was replaced with complete unit from Coventry UK. Generally all rust was removed & body resprayed Red. New interior fitted. Car was put on the road in 1997.
The cylinder head was replaced but still have the original. the Gearbox was changed to later all syncro box but original box was lost/misplaced.
Car is definitely a driver. Apart from a couple of bubbles in paint our efforts to combat rust seem to be holding up. Car was Waxoiled when completed. Much of the work was an amateur family effort with some help from paid experts. Love the car.
