64 E-Type Coupe 3.8 True barn find. This car hasn't seen the road since 1973. I personally have known this car since 1979. I aquired this from a good friend about 15 yrs ago. This car was tapped in the nose in 1973, no inner structure damage at all. The car was bought without the original nose in 1974 by a previous owner. That owner aquired an early glass cover nose that is a bit on the rough side, but definitley fixable. There is rust on the driver's fender, and plenty of dents! The car is a very desirable color combination of black over red. These cars look stunning in this color combo! I have finally come to the realization that I'm not going to get to this car to perform the proper restoration that it deserves. As much as I hate to sell this, it is time for someone else to take on this project. I have too many other projects that I'm already committed to. The prior owner had done some welding work to the main body tub, rocker replacement, floor work, etc. This car deserves a proper total restoration. The car only has 57k miles which is believed to be acurate based on the fact that the car was only on the road for less than 10yrs. I just fired this car up today off of a gas can an an electric auxiliary pump. It runs fantastic! I believe the car is 95% complete. I didn't dissasemble, I'm sure there are some trinkets that might be missing. There are a few new parts that were with the car when I aquired it.

This is a matching #'s car that runs great. No smoke, no engine noise. It is unbelievable that it started right up after I hadn't started it in over 12 plus years. The fuel system is out of the car as you can see from the pics. I started the car using an electric fuel pump and a gas can. I only ran the car for about 1 minute. This car had has some amateur welding and body work, that needs to be straightened out. It is very solid and a great candidate to start with. I just plain don't fit in the car, and won't have anytime in the near future to restore it. I was going to try and drop the floor pan for needed head room, or ( Gasp ) do a "Gurney" bubble in the roof, but I can't make myself do either.
