1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupé (Fix Head Coupé), 6 Zylinder mit 3,8 Liter Hubraum und Schaltgetriebe, unglaublich schöne Formen. Es wurden nur 7.670 Exemplare produziert und es wird langsam zu einem seltenen Auto. Dieses Auto ist ein sehr originelles Auto, da es viele Jahre stillgelegt war.

Ich habe das Auto 2012 auf einer Reise nach New Mexiko gefunden, wo ich einen bekannten Jaguar Sammler besuchte. Das Auto wurde gekauft und anschließend mit nach Hause genommen. Zoll und Mehrwertsteuer in der EU wurden also bezahlt. Ursprünglich war eine Renovierung geplant, aber aufgrund vieler anderer Projekte sehe ich mich gezwungen, es zu verkaufen.

Es handelt sich um ein „Matching Nummer“ Auto, bei dem die Motor/Zylinderkopf/Getriebe/Hinterachse und Fahrgestellnummer immer noch die Originalnummer aus dem Werk hat. Die Dokumentation hierfür ist in Form des Jaguar Heritage Trust Zertifikats enthalten. Aus dem Zertifikat geht auch hervor, dass das Auto in der begehrten Farbkombination geboren wurde: Cream weiß mit schwarzer Leder Innenausstattung.

Das Auto ist ein Projekt und muss renoviert werden. Das Auto ist rostfrei, Schlüssel und originaler Schlüsselring sowie beiden Werkzeug rollen und Ersatzrad sind dabei. Dazu sind auch einige neue Ersatzteile dabei. Ein Original Jaguar Heritage Zertifikat liegt auch vor. Das Chrom des Autos ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Der Innenraum hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Der Motor dreht sich frei bei Hand, es wurde jedoch aufgrund des jahrelangen Stillstands kein Startversuch unternommen. Das Auto ist bis auf die fehlenden vorderen Teppiche vollständig.

Ein wirklich schönes und sehr originelles Projekt, das die Grundlage für ein fantastisches Ergebnis bilden kann! Selten als Projekt angeboten. Ein komplett renoviertes Auto kann bei korrekter Renovierung zwischen 120.000 und 200.000 € wert sein.
