This 1964 Jaguar XKE is a Series I coupe that is said to have been refurbished between 2005 and 2010 and was acquired out of California by the current owner around a decade ago. Finished in black over tan leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six equipped with triple SU carburetors and paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a push-button AM/FM radio, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, glass headlight covers, four-wheel disc brakes, and chrome knock-off wire wheels. This XKE is being offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with transferable New York registration.

The car is said to have been repainted its current shade of black during the aforementioned refurbishment, and exterior features include a louvered hood, central exhausts, dual side-view mirrors, and glass headlight covers.

Chrome 15” wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-off spinners and mounted with 205/70 Pirelli P 4000 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with larger aftermarket brakes up front and inboard-mounted units in the rear.

The cabin houses replacement seats trimmed in tan leather with a matching center console and carpets along with a black dashboard and floor mats. Equipment includes a push-button AM/FM radio, toggle switches for vehicle functions, and a central storage compartment. The seller notes that the removed seats are included in the sale.

A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel features an E-Type-branded horn button and sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock. A quartet of auxiliary gauges are found in the center stack, and the five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, around 900 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 3.8-liter inline-six is said to have been rebuilt during the refurbishment and features an aluminum radiator along with triple SU carburetors. The seller notes a recent oil change and carburetor tune. Cylinder head stamping is RA7230-9.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, which is also said to have been overhauled.
