Life long [almost!] Jaguar enthusiast. Had 'E's since I was 22 - they were cheap then. Have owned c.20 'E' Types, '430 was the second one I purchased and have owned for 36 years. We won concours, went racing - and did pretty well - and now we go to the pub together. Full race prepared still and with the open exhausts everyone knows it's me. EX100 is in my custody for a friend who has owned it since Peter Taylor sold it in 1976. Now overhauled and on 6 Webbers it's pretty impressive and of course unique. (email)Updated October 25th, 2010. Not legal proof of ownership. |

The very first V12E. A factory pre-production car based upon a series II. Re constructed by the factory as a V12 series 3 and registered as such.
Sold to factory development engineer Peter Taylor who developed and raced it as a private entry in thew 1974 British Production Sports Car Championship - which he won!
Sold on to the present owner in 1976. Laid up until 1977 when sympathetically restored, A very famous car. 2008 Photos to follow. 1974 photos in every jaguar book!!

Car now (Oct 2017) completed full, very sympathetic, refurbishment and is ready for the road! Peter Taylor inspected the car at Browns Lane two years ago, ahead of the work commencing and confirmed that the car is as he built and left it. Obviously fresh paint now but otherwise just completely stripped, cleaned and re assembled. The owner is probably going to sell it now as he is reducing his collection so..... if you have very deep pockets then do get in contact. ! Bruce Goddard

Bruce , we celebrate cars here by entering them, supplying photos for all of us to envy and drool over. Perhaps when you have a minute you could let the rest of us who would love to see the first V12 here on this site.
