This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a white-over-red Series II roadster that was refurbished under previous ownership and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, a rear luggage rack, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a retro-look digital stereo, air conditioning, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ chrome wire wheels, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022, and subsequent work included brake fluid and oil changes as well as replacement of the spark plugs. This Series II E-Type roadster is now offered in Florida with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Montana title.

The body was reportedly repainted in white as part of the aforementioned refurbishment completed during previous ownership. Features include a black soft top, a black convertible top boot, a rear luggage rack, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers with overriders.

Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels wear Jaguar-branded knock-off nuts and are mounted with Coker Classic redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by servo-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The brake fluid was changed in preparation for the sale, according to the selling dealer.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in red leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets accompanied by a contrasting black dashboard. Equipment includes air conditioning, a retro-look digital stereo, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel with an E-type horn button.

Smiths instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as a centrally-mounted clock and auxiliary gauges monitoring battery voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows just over 35k miles.

The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual overhead camshafts and is fitted with dual Stromberg carburetors. Work performed in preparation for the sale included an oil change as well as replacement of the spark plugs, according to the selling dealer.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Grand Prix Motors in Jacksonville, Florida, and lists factory equipment, identification numbers, and a total suggested retail price of $6,617.50.
