This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II Roadster that was produced on May 6, 1970 and reportedly remained with its previous owner for approximately 45 years. It is finished in Willow Green over a black interior and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six mated with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, twin SU carburetors, knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a Craig push-button stereo. Service performed in preparation for the sale is said to include replacement of the battery, cooling fan switch, and temperature transmitter, along with a carburetor tune, a coolant flush, and an oil change. This XKE is now offered by the selling dealer in Miami, Florida with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and New York registration.

The car was finished in Willow Green from the factory and was reportedly repainted by Fineline Auto Works in Forest City, North Carolina. The black soft top is shown both raised and lowered in the gallery, and additional equipment includes chrome-finished bumpers with overriders, a driver-side mirror, and an antenna.

Chrome-finished 15” knock-off wire wheels wear 215/70 Dunlop Elite Seventy tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes with inboard-mounted rears.

The interior is trimmed in black leather upholstery and features a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Craig push-button stereo, a locking glove compartment, and lap belts for both occupants. The cooling fan switch was recently replaced.

A three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted on the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 50k miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with dual Stromberg carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Service performed in preparation for the sale is said to include an oil change, a coolant flush, tuning of the carburetors, and replacement of the battery and temperature transmitter.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists a production date of May 6, 1970 along with the factory colors and serial numbers.
