One of the most desirable of the E-Types, this stunning 4.2 litre roadster has had a very cosseted life, being meticulously maintained and cared. This very low mileage car with only 14,850 genuine documented miles has been in the current owners position since he acquired the car in September 2003 after purchasing it from a Mr. Andrew Hemshall, of Stoke-on-Trent.
The car has spent the past 11 years in the dry climate of Greece in its current ownership, which has led to this car retaining its wonderful looks and condition, presented here beautifully in this light blue with dark blue upholstery, and black convertible roof.
This car took part in a concours d'elegance in May 1986 here in the UK, where it scored very highly indeed and has since retained its wonderful iconic British looks in a very presentable manner with that excellent Jaguar 4.2 litre power plant propelling this car effortlessly and is accompanied with that straight six exhaust note that is recognisable of any great Jaguar six cylinder engine.
The car is accompanied with a comprehensive history folder, including all MOT certificates from when the car left the UK to go to Greece in 2003 that date back to 1970 , older V5's, a Jaguar Heritage certificate and invoices and receipts for work carried out to this car to bring it to its current condition and photographs to remind you of how lovely this car really is.
Fitted with power steering as a factory fitted option, this car presents a very useable and collectible British Classic that has been and is still seeing a rise in value.
