Car returns to ebay 2/18/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Jaguar-E-Type-Coupe-/201822921501
Current bid US $8,988.88 reserve not met 7 bids 9 days left in auction, seller direct2uauto, car now said to be in Tuscola, Illinois, 91k miles.
Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar E-Type with a one owner history from Aug of 1970 to July of 2016. Offered for sale by the current owner because of back problems.
This 1970 XKE is a completely rust free, solid, straight example. It was always garage kept in a climate controlled garage in the Phoenix, Arizona area. The original owner spared no expense in caring for the car over the years, and gave the mechanicals a full rebuild a few years back. The service history, as well as the original AZ title will be included with this fabulous E-Type.
The car starts easily, idles smoothly and runs out as it should with no smoke. The 4-speed gearbox shifts sure and true, with no synchromesh crunch or whine. The car rides very nice, smoothing out rough roads, yet always lets you know what is going on. Turn in is quick and predictable for a sports car of it's vintage. The factory AC works well. The original leather is free form rips. The Primrose Yellow paint looks great and the chrome is without blemish.

Found out from the 2nd owner when he bought the car in 1978 from the original owner it was already pale primrose. I am the 3rd owner.
