This is the classic barn find XKE.The miles are actual on the car! The car was bought years ago by a Doctor for his daughter for graduation,the daughter had pickup truck on her mind. They parked the car 25 years ago in a storage garage, I heard about it, sought it out and this is what I found. The interior has the patina of a true 31,000 mile car, still intact, leather still soft,dash cap perfect with no cracks, gauges good with cloudy glass, carpets good in most areas but drivers floormat.The paint is flat (has been repainted once). The car shows no signs of accident history or rust repair. For the most part, the car is free of rust, the passenger door has some bubbles but the body seams, floor boards, trunk floor, bonnet are free of rust corrosion. The chrome is ok. The engine has not been started in years but it has been represented as not locked up. If a garage has an opening before the end of the auction I will flatbed over and we will attempt to start the car. If you have been looking for an entry level Jaguar XKE, this one has good bones and nothing but upside potential.
