I bought this excellent original car in dallas tx about 2 years ago and brought it home. I have owned many e types and this is a really nice one. It is the 2+2 with every option available ,working ac,beautiful chrome wire wheels, smoothe automatic trans,power steering, power brakes,etc I took this car apart and sent it to the finest painter in our area and had it repainted. This car is better looking than the pictures,in fact it is concours quality, with excellent chrome , new tires , half new exhaust, new belts ,hoses,bartlett carpet, fan motors, radio, wires, cap, window seals, rotors, calipers, carburettors, battery,lenses,etc, etc over 15,000 in repairs. The original interior is excellent except the headliner is a little dirty. it has the original steering wheel, console, aircleaner, etc The motor is smoothe and has no valve noise, or smoke. The paint is scottsdale quality, etc etc , If you are a tall person you can fit in this investment grade original jag. All i can say is that if this was a roadster it would bring 50,000 plus but it is not . If you want quality in an e type but can not justify the price and you want to drive the car daily here it is. this car does have a small power steering leak and a small oil drip on occasion but how much nicer can you ask for in a 38 year old car? I do not have the tools or jack. the windshield has some scratches from old wiper blades but again this car is awesome.
