Our car is a 1970 Series 2 Fixed Head Coupe; a United States specification car fitted with 2 Zenith Stromberg carburettors rather than 3 SU carburettors and a collapsible steering wheel to comply with US pollution and safety legislation. It is also fitted with power steering and air conditioning. Because of the power steering it has been fitted with a small and sporty Motolita steering wheel, rather than the standard steering wheel which is included in the sale. The car is matching numbers and underwent complete restoration in 2007. The last owner purchased the car in 2008 and included are maintenance receipts for the period of his ownership.
