Ebay item 10/22/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,900 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Jaguar 1972 XKE V12 Roadster E-Type. This was damaged in a garage fire. The floor and underneath of the car are solid but all outer body skin's are damaged. The car is a 4 speed, no air conditioning, with wire wheels. The transmission appears to be in good shape. The engine appears to be ok except the carburetors started to melt.
I am sure all mechanical parts will need to be taken apart & serviced before using.
The car does have a title.

1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster
Lot 441
Registration Number: EU taxes paid

Sitting on new chrome wire wheels this 1972 example has had the benefit of a full restoration. The engine has been fully reconditioned and the carburettors completely rebuilt. A brand new stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted.
The gearbox has been overhauled with new bearings and seals. Further attention to the transmission includes a new clutch and a fully overhauled differential with new bearings and seals. The car has been totally re-wired and restored with original gauges along with a newly refurbished biscuit interior.
All decorative items were either re-chromed or replaced by marquee specialist SNG Barratt. A new Mohair hood complements the midnight blue paint work and is described by the vendor as being beautifully presented.
Estimate: £30000 - £35000
