This 1972 Jaguar E-Type roadster reportedly spent time in Texas and then Oklahoma before it was acquired by the selling dealer six months ago from its second owner of 43 years. Finished in silver over a red leather interior, the car is powered by a numbers-matching 5.3-liter V12 paired with a four-speed manual gearbox and equipped with a black fabric top as well as chrome knock-off wire wheels. Service in 2020 including flushing the fuel tank and brakes, carburetor rebuilds, electrical work, a compression test, and fluid changes as well as replacement of the tires, cooling fan switch, vacuum hoses, and spark plugs. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Leakage around the oil pan and rear transmission housing is noted on an inspection report from March 2020.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate identifies the car as a left-hand drive model with factory colors of silver over a red interior that was delivered to British Leyland Motors of New York in October 1972.
