For sale at Dandy Classics of Sint Anthonis. Described as a beautiful and solid E Type S3 V12 2+2 in silver with a black interior and automatic transmission. 34,013 miles on the odometer which looks original to the car. It was delivered new to the United States and was imported and registered in the Netherlands in 1982. It had been part of a car collection until the current owner acquired it about 20 years ago. Back then it already had its current silver colour, which is a professional quality re-spray over the original primrose yellow.
Slightly more than 10,000 carefully driven miles have been put on by the current owner, who kept this Jaguar in well serviced condition. It has never been restored and shows a history of prudent ownership. Technically the car is in very good condition. A service and oil change was done about 2 years ago and it has had a recent check over, making it a reliable and well serviced driver. Being a 44 year old Jaguar it has a few minor points needing attention: 2 worn exhaust rubbers and an advisable air con service are the most serious ones.
The exterior still looks fabulous , with the bright silver paintwork in excellent condition, although there are a few imperfections to remedy. Under the bonnet everything looks clean and well looked after. The inside of the bonnet and the bulkhead have been painted silver, but the car's sub-frames are black over the original primrose. A very solid and structurally sound E Type which bears close inspection.
The interior is in good condition with a subtle amount of patina. The undamaged original leather seats still feel firm and supple. The headrest foams have seen better days. The headlining is clean and doesn't suffer from the usual hanging. Radio-cassette player. Original instruction manual. Registered in the Netherlands with current APK/MOT/TUV. 49,500 euros.
