Ebay item 9/4/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Series-3-1973-Jaguar-Series-III-V12-E-Type ...
Current bid $2,025 reserve not met, 3 bids 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $39,499. Car now said to be in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sellers description:
This iconic British roadster is a fine example of the series III E-Type Jaguar. The E-type roadster is generally considered one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. A restoration in recent years has brought this beauty back to its original luster. It runs spectacularly and is as fun to drive as you would imagine. The 5.3L V12 hums fantastically and it truly floats down the road as intended.

We have checked this car in our service department from bumper to bumper. EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL WORKS and the A/C is ice cold! The paint is in excellent condition, as is the interior. The top has been replaced and is correct. There is no rust at all on the body. Some very minor surface rust can be seen on the undercarriage, but can easily be removed since it is surface rust only and in no way affects the structural integrity of the car. Take a close look in our photo presentation and we know you will be very impressed at the condition of this car, on the top as well as underneath.

This is a great investment car at this very reasonable price. As time goes by, value will surely increase. This car has achieved the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, which of course is extremely important in the world of collectible Jaguar XKE cars. We also have very good documentation on the car.

We welcome you or your agent to personally inspect this car at our facility. Please come by and check out this piece of automotive history for yourself!

Car returns to ebay 1/29/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1973-E-Type-Series-III/113601475734

Car has a buy it now price of $67,485 for 6 days, seller abreumotors, 58k miles, car now said to be in Carmel, Indiana.

Seller's description:

Bread of necessity, the Series 3 featured a high-performance V12 manual transmission to compensate for the weight added when conforming to the North American market’s strict emissions control standards. The result was a success.

Featured here is a fine original example, with a surprisingly original Cinnamon leather interior that has been well preserved, still taut and proudly boasting its original patina. The exterior paint in original color Sable is beautiful, thanks to a recent paint correction which has restored the rich lustre of this uniquely 70’s-era tone of brown. The vehicle appears to have had a professional repaint at some point that was carefully protected and preserved thereafter. Only one minor paint imperfection is visible on the rear trunk lid.

Original books, operating manual, tool kit, and service records showing $11,000 of maintenance since 2006. The vehicle has been test driven and received service to the fuel pump, with oil and filter change while in our possession. This is a great driver’s quality Series 3 E-Type Roadster.
