Ebay item 7/9/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-/121699244115
Current bid US $39,900 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
TRIPLE BLACK 1973 V12 JAGUAR XKE, LOW MILES AND LOADED!!! PS, PB, PW, 4 SPEED AND FACTORY AC. $17500 COSMETIC RESTORATION WITH LESS THAN 1000 MILES SINCE. GORGEOUS BLACK PAINT, NEWER CHROME ALL THE WAY AROUND, ROLLING ON WIRE RIMS. The is a real triple black cat. According to the two previous owners, this Jaguar has only 22.000 and probably 23,000 if it is not sold soon. The previous owners validated miles based on previous owner history and registration records. We purchased this pretty black jaguar represented as a low mileage car, but we can not prove or disprove the mileage, but it's a really nice car that we are proud to own. This pretty black cat received an expensive $17,500 cosmetic restoration to freshen it up a bit twelve years ago, including new paint, new wire wheels and lots of new chrome all the way around. The interior is great with the original leather seat covers. The dash has crisp clear gages and instrumentation. The top is in very good original condition and has a small tear on each side. This car runs strong like a V12 should and is a driving pleasure with a 5.3 litter V-12 engine, and a 4-speed transmission that powers through the gears nicely. Independent Suspension all the way around, upgraded CD with conceal speakers in the back that sound great. This beautiful black cat is rolling on sexy chrome wire wheels and has major curb appeal.

Car returns to ebay 6/13/16

Current bid US $20,200 reserve not met 7 bids 9 days left in auction. Seller twentyfirstcenturyauctions, 22k miles. Car now said to be in Boca Raton, Florida. Above Mecum auction ended as sold at $62,500.

Sellers description:
Magnificently repainted last October, new top installed $17,500 spent!
Exterior: Black
Interior: Black
Convertible Top: Black
Convertible Boot: Black
Trunk interior carpet: Biscuit
Wheels: 5 factory Jaguar wire wheels
Transmission: 4/Speed manual
Engine: 5.3 liter, 326cid V-12 rated at 285 bhp
Mileage: 22,589
Serial Number: UD1S21138
Production date: 11/72
Model: 1973 XKE Roadster
Radio: AM/FM/Stereo/CD Pioneer
Carburetors: 4 Brand new SU with new fuel lines and clamps

Included with the sale of this stunning low mileage Jaguar Roadster are the 4 original Zenith Stromberg
carburetors that were professionally rebuilt. After being rebuilt they were installed on the car
and properly tuned. I had them carefully removed and put in plastic bags.

We bought an entire set of BRAND NEW SU carburetors, new hoses and clamps, a new electric fuel pump
and replaced the fuel gauge tank sender with a brand new correct replacement. I also had the fuel tank's
interior cleaned and replaced all the fuel tank hoses and fuel filter. We did this to insure that the
new owner will have 1000's of fun-filled problem free miles. We really do love the cars more than
the money and have sold almost 1/3 of a billion dollars in cars on Ebay since March of 2000.

The electric choke works, but with these SU carburetors it's not necessary to use the choke. Just turn
the key and this low mileage V-12 springs to life. Let it warm up for 3-4 minutes and you'll enjoy how
wonderful this Jaguar drives. Anyone who has owned a 1971-1974 knows the Stromberg-Zenith carbs
are a pain in the A to keep in tune...that's why so many owners of the 1961-1970 Six cylinder Series I
and Series II and owners of the Series III 1971-1974 XKE V-12 have switched to these SU carburetors.

All the gauges work and the AC blows ice cold. We had the AC blower motor replaced with a new quieter
blower motor.

We spend countless hours making sure every car we offer is the best it can be. If we find a light bulb out,
we replace it. The interior courtesy bulb is out and we are looking for a replacement.
The clock is not working, we are alerting you to that...we do our best to never "Surprise" anyone.
This Jaguar is a gorgeous 43 year old car...it's not perfect...nor do we believe there is such a thing as perfect on a
40, 50, or 60 year old automobile, but this is one is one of the nicest looking and running 1973 XKE Roadsters you could ever find.

If a car needs a new battery....we install one.... and on this we looked for the best possible battery available and we
bought and installed it...It's called the OPTIMA and it cost $200 plus the old battery.

We drive all of our cars for 50-200 or more miles and if we find something not working...we fix it....if we don't fix it---
we tell you in the auction copy what is not working and if by some rare chance we overlooked it...then call us
and we will do our best to make it right.

The original AM/FM radio has been replaced with a great sounding Pioneer AM/FM/Stereo CD. It's got
great sounding speakers...2 Polk audio tweeters in the doors and a pair of great sounding
6X9's with one mounted behind each seat.

The Convertible top and Convertible top boot are new and fit well.

The paint on this car is simply gorgeous...it's like looking into a shimmering pool of black ink.

The chrome is beautiful, when redone it was triple plated to show quality and so are the wire wheels.

We had the wood that covers the spare tire inside the trunk replaced with new
correct panels that fit exactly as they should...and then a new Biscuit carpet
made and new snaps attached.

Included is the original wooded knock-off hammer for removing the wire wheels.
