ebay Item # 2418794550 6/10/03
Sellers comment:
Not restored. 54,000 miles, five speed transmission [unlikely].
Mechanical condition: excellent. All the original parts are there. Service records available. Runs well, makes 40+ pounds oil pressure, no leaks. A/C still charged with R12 [not converted] and works. Wire wheels are straight and clean, no leaks. Body is solid, but would need paint to be considered first class. Some light surface corrosion exists on the frame for the convertible top. Interior is black leather and in excellent condition. CD player has been added, but original radio is included.

It hasn't seen rain in 15 years, and never operated in lesser conditions. Its always been garaged and is stored winters in a heated factility.

Additional ad text:

With a little tender loving care, it could be a first class restoration.

Needs: top installed -- a new leather top is included but not installed. Duct under front roll pan is mangled slightly from cobblestone driveway [see photo]. Slight pry marks from some jerk trying to pry the hood open.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
