Ebay item 4/21/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Roadster-30k-Orig-Mi-2-Owner-V12-4-Spe ...
Car has a buy it now price of $49,000 for 20 days.

Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XKE e-type Roadster for sale with just 30k original miles. This Jag was purchased new on March 11th, 1974 at Continental Motors in La Grange, Illinois by it's first owner who moved and brought the car to Loxahatchee Florida in the mid 1980's. By 2005, it was shipped back to Illinois to Northshore Imports who sold it to it's 2nd owner here in Northern California. Prior to sale it was given new tubes and tires; gearbox mounts, complete fluid change, new clutch slave, carburetor gaskets, belts, hoses, distributor and a few other items.

The car is in very nice condition, well preserved for a Jaguar it's age. It was resprayed a couple of years ago at which time the front seats and headrests were reupholstered. The car runs strong with compression ranging 135-145 across the board. It starts; runs and drives beautifully with excellent brakes, tight steering and nice suspension. The exhaust sounds beautiful and the overall condition is very nice.

It is unusual to find an e-type with such a short list of owners and with such low, original mileage that has been nicely maintained and gently used.

Seller's description:

A nice 1972 Jaguar XKE model for sale, with only 30 kilometers original. This Jag was purchased on March 11, 1974.

This Jaguar E-Type is in very good condition, well preserved for a Jaguar age. It was rejected a few years ago, when the front seats and head restraints were retouched. The car runs heavily with compression ranging from 135-145 across the board. You start; runs and drives nicely with excellent brakes, tight steering and pleasing suspension. The evacuation sounds nice and the general condition is very pleasant.

It is unusual to find a Classic Jaguar E-type with such a short list of owners and with such low, original mileage that has been nicely maintained and gently used.
