Sellers description:
This is a fantastic daily driver. I feel comfortable driving it anywhere - at night, on the freeway, long drives, short drives, etc. It has been kept in a nice dry garage. I love the automatic transmission. I can let someone else drive the car without the worry that they are going to destroy the clutch/transmission. Professionally installed SBC 350 motor and turbo automatic transmission. My understanding is that the engine was installed at approximately 55k miles and that there are approximately 19k miles on the new engine and transmission. This is a black exterior on biscuit interior car. I believe the car was once a silver on red interior. The car was painted by the previous owner around the time the engine was swapped, so the engine bay and bonnet match the body.
The paint looks nice, but you can notice imperfections if you look closely. I would say that it is a 6 or 7. There are the usual chips on the door flanges that have mostly been touched up. There is some paint checking on the bonnet. The chrome is all in very good shape and looks nice and shiny.
The hardtop can be removed with the removal of a few bolts and the soft-top can be used (it is on and ready even while the hard top is on). The wiper blades need to be replaced. The seat belts are the Kangol reflex three-points, but the seat belt retractor has lost it's tension and does not retract well. This is something that I would recommend replacing/updating.
Cold blowing factory air conditioning.
Factory XKE Series 3 Landau style hardtop (extremely rare - try finding one for sale).
New tan soft top.
The rear shocks were recently replaced with Koni Special D sport shocks.
Front and rear brake pads have just been replaced.
Tires in good shape.
Sony Bluetooth/USB/CD stereo (Sounds great).
5 speaker setup with amplifier (2 front speakers, 2 rear speakers, and a sub-woofer). The sub-woofer was built to fit and match the interior.
Jack, knockoff tool, and spare tire included!
