Sellers description:
This car is a solid Texas car in good running condition. Mileage on the odometer reads 54400. At some point the original V12 engine and transmission were replaced with a more reliable Chevrolet V8 / 350 fitted with a Holley carburator. This car has plenty of power, does not smoke, no funny noise. The conversion was very well done with no cutting of the frame rails and using most of the original equipment [heater box, exhaust tips...]. Transmission shifts smoothly, A/C blows cold, even the clock ticks ticks.... The interior is original [leather seats, door panels, carpet...] and in good condition. Please note the foam in both headrests needs to be replaced. I took the car to an upholstery shop but we could not figure out how to take the headrests off the seats. If someone out there knows the trick please let me know and I will have them done. Also the convertible top has a little tear, but nothing major. I looked at this car from every angle, all the body panels fit nicely and appear to be all original. I did not find rust. [ rockers, floor, trunk bottom...] The paint is presentable (10 ft away) A nice slick paint job would make a big difference! Chrome bumpers, wire wheels, knock-off are in good condtion. The tires have very little miles on them. Original owner's manual, black boot cover, hammer for knock-off, CD changer [working?] Also please note this is a TRUE convertible vin# UD1S23130 NOT a "chopped" coupe.
