"1973 Jaguar XKE 2+2 V-12, 4-speed trans Maroon with black interior. Consignment car. This is a clasic Jaguar XKE showing 59,079 miles although the owner states that the engine, trans and front end were all rebuilt approx. 5-yrs ago and has only been driven about 1,000 miles since. This car has wire-wheels and an after market AM/FM Casette Player. This is an A/C equipped car.


Vehicle Condition

Engine, trans and front-end rebuilt approx. 5- yrs ago.Slight tick noticable in engine, probably lifter noise. Test drive shows the car to be quite solid with good power, smooth shifting and good suspension. Paint in good condition although not a new paint job.A few chips in paint, 2 in drivers door, 1 behind right front tire on bonnet and 1 in the corner of rear hatch. All chrome looks good. Sand pitting on windshield, all other glass is good. Tires are 195-65-R15's and are about 80% of new. Interior is in need of some attention. The front seats need to be recovered. The headliner has a few air pockets where it has come unglued. The right side of the dash pad is lifting and there are a few nicks in the outer edges of both door panels. Electric fan is not working, A/C blows hot, need to be recharged. Not a perfect car but decent and a definite head turner. "

The exterior of this car is in spotless condition. The paint is shiny and smooth. NO RUST!!! I have taken a close-up of what the paint looks like. No other exterior noticable blemishes found. The shifting is smooth. The drive is supurb!! The acceleration is powerful and quick, and the stopping distance is short. You can expect a beautifully kept condition. Interior
It is in excellent condition and swell kept leather. Only the front seats need new gloves to be in pefect condition. One may want to install a new carpet kit as well. The dash is in okay condition.
