1974 Jaguar Etype Roadster...In my opinion this is a rare opertuinty to aquire an Etype fron its original owner...the car was bought new in 1974 and has been lovingly cared for since...the car is completly origional and was used as a summer car only...The car is absoutely rust free..has been kept indoors all of its life...The body of the car is absoutely beautiful...the car has the best panel fit that I have sceen...The paint on the car presents its self very well......the car has sme very minor imperfections in the paint....the origional owner represented that the paint is origional...if that is the case the car is an outstanding survivor......
the mechanics of the car are in excellent condition....the engine is very sound showing excellent oil pressure with the help of a new oil press. sending unit...the oil pressure shows 50 lbs at start up and idles hot at 40lbs...the engine is without issue...the gearbox and blutch also show no issues...driving the car the gearboxhas no whines or odd noises ,...the clutch release when it should and has no slippage... All the instruments are operational and correct...the spedo is origional and operated perfectly..there is no waveing to it ...it reads correctly...same for the rev counter and all the gauges....the origional radio is fully functional..
the interior of the car is completly origional.....all the seats are in perfect condition ...though the would benifit from a good cleaning...I would have done this but thought it better to leave it to its new owner in case the seats fades without proper cleaning products used... The car has had a new canvas top fitted replaceing the original top that was on the car in 1974....the chrome is very nice...no pitting or rust.....
To sum up ...This is one of the best origional cars that I have come across...There sceems to be no shortage of the "restored" cars...cars that have been cut and welded and have had panel replacement...this car has never been repaired...no accidents and has its origional panels and floors intact....In my opinion there is no comparispon.....as they say THEY COME ORIGINOAL ONLY ONCE......I have the origional Bill of Sale and Invoice from the dealer in 1974...also the owners manual////..The car has the original jack and pouch...knock off hammer and tonneau cover......origional spare tire ..still in the boot....

For sale 1972 V12 S3 Manual Roadster.
Chassis UE1S23835 is fully matching numbers car in British Racing Green with a Cinnamon interior. The hood is new and it would be easy and little cost to get the interior up to a very similar standard.
The car is very solid and straight and paintwork acceptable but we will give the car a proper machine polish in our workshop.
We have had the car started and the engine is very sweet indeed starting immediately after arriving. Manual roadsters in original condition are very hard to find, and this will make an excellent car with very little work.
