Red with Black Leather Interior and Black Convertible top.

Serial Number:VE1S25062BW

Mileage:54,121

This Gorgeous Jag Roadster was purchased new from the Collection (Jaguar dealership) in 1974 by world renowned Oceanagraphic Explorer Jacque Cousteau.

Mr. Cousteau traded it back in to the Collection in 1986 where it was purchased by world famous inventor Mr. Sidney Samole.

I purchased the entire Sidney Samole collection and this incredible Jaguar was the "Crown Jewel" of his entire collection. WHAT A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is equipped as follows:

V-12 original engine

Automatic Transmission

Factory Air-conditioning

AM/FM Stereo radio/cassette

Factory Wire Wheels

This car was always kept by Mr. Samole in his heated/air-conditioned garages...it has never spent a single night outdoors. He only drove the car on perfect days...and never in the rain. It had 48,670 miles in 1986 (documented) Sixteen years later...it has just over 54,000 miles.

The body and chrome on this car are breathtaking...as is the entire car. The paint was beginning to show it's age...so I recently had the car stripped to bare metal and a high dollar, professional paint job done on the car...I felt with this car's incredible history and great condition...it was money well spent! The results speak for themselves.

The top is brand new and the Leather is "as new!" The boot fits to perfection and the carpets are also perfect. It has the original tool bag still in Mr. Cousteau's personal tool bag!

Etc., etc.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
