    Car now offered at:

    Sellers description:
    1974 JAGUAR XKE V-12
This 1974 Series III V-12 XKE Roadster still shows the appeal of the model. Equipped with automatic transmission, its original radio, chrome wire wheels with narrow whitewall tires and finished in Silver-Grey metallic with black leather upholstery and interior trim and a black vinyl top and boot, it also has air conditioning, making it the perfect multi-season car. An older restoration, it has been driven and enjoyed and is today a superior driver in all respects. The body is extraordinary: flush fits, flat panels and lustrous paint. The chrome is awesome. Underhood the presentation is tidy and shows little evidence of age or use. Overall, this XKE V12 Roadster is an exceptional example that asks only to be driven and enjoyed.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
