Ebay item 6/15/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $5,000.00 (Reserve not met), no bids yet, 5 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
I recently purchased the vehicle from the original owner who purchased the car new in 1974. The car has not been started in several years but the engine does turn over. Cosmetically, the vehicle is in fantastic condition. Minor negatives that are shown in the photos are small cracks on both sides of the fiberglass hardtop, small scratch on lower left side of hood, and tear on driver seat. Soft top appears to be in good condition as well as the boot cover. Dash board and gauges are in perfect condition. No visible rust anywhere, Factory A/C, 40954 original miles, automatic transmission, and numerous manuals. This car could be in show condition at a very minimal cost.

Nice original condition except for respray at some point. Original interior. Factory hardtop. Some service history including original purchase agreement and trade-in details.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
