1974 Jaguar XKE V12 Roadster. This car is "Ready for the Road", serviced as recently as April 2004. Receipts from 1982 through 2004. Own a Classic! Be Original! Black Leather Interior. Interior never replaced - Perfect and Original. Shining Red Original Paint. 57450 Original Miles. Articulate Wire Wheels. Two Original Tops Soft and Hard. Driven in Car Shows and Parades. Engine Maintained. No Major perfections.
Vehicle Condition
The V12 motor runs superb. Over $40,000 in Service Receipts. This year converted air conditioning to R-134, and put in new AC compressor-very cold air! Recent tune-up, replaced manifold gaskets and exhaust hangers. In 2000 Rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt distributor, replaced all hoses, replaced water pump, replaced exhaust collector, replaced all exhausted head studs, replaced motor mounts, cleaned engine compartments, rebuilt 2 V12 cylinder heads, all valves, stem seals, pressure test and surfacing, replaced fuel pump, replace ignition switch and relays, replaced fuses and electrical contacts, overhauled the braking on entire vehicle. There is a small oil leak around the front oil seal. Neutral switch slightly out of adjustment. RPM gauge not working. The lights, blinkers, wipers, horn, odometer, CD player all work.

This 1974 E-type has been well maintained over its life and I have service records for it. The car recently had the front and rear brakes overhauled. It got new calipers, rotors and pads. The engine runs strong, has excellent oil pressure even when warmed up and runs cool (no over heating issues). The transmission shifts through each gear with no hesitation. The top was replaced a year ago with a new mohair one, which fits very nicely with no sagging in the rear window area. The interior of the car is in very nice condition, no rips or tears in the leather. Even the head rests are like new. The spare tire is the original Dunlop SP Sport. The car has been painted during it's life, which was done beautifully. This is great car to just get in and enjoy it....
