1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III V-12 Roadster, This is a two-owner Series III V-12 E-Type Roadster with 35,983 original miles with many awards from numerous British and Classic car shows in the Memphis, TN area. The second owner, a Federal Express pilot, had a full restoration performed in 1991, including an engine rebuild, and the car has remained in his posession and its restored condition, receiving limited driving mileage, while stored in a heated garage until its sale to me in September, 2013. It is equiped with a new stainless steel exhaust system, six new adjustable Gaz shock-absorbers and includes a Parrish removable fiberglass hardtop. Every aspect of the car and its performance is perfect including the Air Conditioning system.

Just out of a long time customers private collection, this Series III E-Type is presented in British Racing Green with a Biscuit leather interior. Having been thoroughly restored by the second owner, the panel fit is accurate and the doors and trunk close correctly. This Jags body lines are accentuated by exceptional bright work, and complemented by a new cloth convertible top. Inward, the interior shows as new with the original buttons and switches having a touch of patina. The Biscuit leather seats wrap you in comfort when touring, and provide a little extra safety with headrests and shoulder belts as mandated for the series III. This series III features interior comforts such as the British Leyland Radio and air conditioning too.

This XKEs 5.3 Liter V12 sports the correct, dual S.U. carburetors and a new stainless steel exhaust system which adds to the pleasure of driving this E-Type. The engine was removed for the restoration and refreshed, along with all other driveline components. The syncro-mesh 4-speed gear box makes for crisp shifts, and the fully independent suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes help keep this Jag under control. This XKE is a smooth operator at all speeds, and even when the AC is blowing!
