IT'S ALIVE! AUTOMOTIVE is very proud to present this exceptional 1974 Jaguar Series III V12 Open Two Seater in the factory correct color combination of Pale Primrose Yellow over a Cinnamon leather interior and Black convertible top. IT'S ALIVE! is representing this gorgeous V12 E-type on behalf of one of our best customers who has meticulously maintained this example for nearly 25 years! Per the accompanying Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, this example was completed at the Coventry works on May 22nd 1974; exactly three weeks before the final E-type would be completed on June 12th, 1974. A factory equipped 4-speed manual transmission from new, the ownership history is documented back to November 1987 where a previous title copy lists the mileage at 31,184. In 1998 the current owner oversaw a cosmetic restoration comprising of a bare metal respray during which all the trim, glass and rubber was removed and replaced as necessary. The Cinnamon leather interior was completely retrimmed and a new Black convertible top was fitted. The work was completed to such a high standard that in 2002 the Series III OTS scored a 9.994/10 and a 9.995/10 in 2003 at the local Jaguar Clubs North America (JNCA) events.
Jaguar specialist Jon Rhodes of Jons Jags performed a thorough inspection of the Series III in August 2013, confirmed the 38,863 miles (at the time) as original. Today the Series III displays 40,109 original miles, a testament to the owner's curated level of care for the past two and half decades. Our in-house specialists at IT'S ALIVE! have been maintaining this Series III since 2018 performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed, ensuring this Jaguar is roadworthy at a moments notice.
