Ebay item 3/24/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1972-Jaguar-E-type-2-2-V-12-Very-nice-car- ...
Current bid C $5,000, no reserve, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
A very rare cat, a numbers matching, unmolested, exceptionally clean and well maintained 1972 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 V-12.

Factory Air conditioning, and all the bells and whistles with this baby.

This cat starts, stops and drives good, it is in need of some detailing, but for the price it is going to go for don't expect a show car, the cat is old and like any classic car that has not been restored, it will need some work.

The chrome will need rechroming to be real nice but it still shines up good, all the glass is clear with no pitting or sun damage.

The interior is clean and doesn't show much signs of wear, no tears or rips, the center ashtray is a little rusty looking but that's about it. All toggle switches are there and the headliner is untouched , looks new.

The body is very straight, the paint was redone at one time but I am not sure when, it still looks good and with a good cleaning she will shine once more, there is no rust on or under this car, she is rock solid!!

I would suggest the following:
Just wash it, put on some brakes, tires and recharge the air conditioning, yes, that's right it has factory air, and away you go, enjoy the summer in a cool ride!!

This cat will turn heads everywhere you go, not only that you will be very proud to own her, treat her right and she'll purr all day long!!

She is stunning as well as shocking!!

Hard to believe there is still one as nice as this kicking around!!

For all those new collectors out there looking for a good buy "this is the car" with the numbers matching drive-train!!

For all those new to the classic car business, if you're looking at this as an investment or just into collecting them, I am sure you have been paying attention to what these cars have been selling for, so you must know, this is not only a great buy but an excellent investment.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
