Dear Sir!
You seems to have a quite untouched car. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a detail photo of the ends of the vacuum pipe? Reservac to brake servo.
Best Regards Johan

This 1966 Jaguar XKE is a Series I roadster that was completed on August 24, 1965, and is said to have remained with a previous owner for approximately 40 years in Texas. It was acquired by the seller in 2016 and was refinished in Silver Blue with a blue soft top over blue leather upholstery during a refurbishment that was completed in 2020. Power comes from a rebuilt 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include glass headlight covers, Dayton stainless steel wire wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes. This XKE is now offered in Arizona with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Delivered from the factory in Carmen Red, the car was refinished in Silver Blue during the refurbishment. A replacement windshield, door glass, and glass headlight covers were also fitted. Features include hood louvers, split front and rear bumpers, and twin exhaust outlets.
The blue soft top can be stowed under a matching boot. The 15×6″ Dayton polished stainless steel wire wheels are mounted with 205/70 Michelin Defender tires. A matching spare wheel is mounted under the trunk floor. The car rides on four-wheel independent suspension with torsion bars up front and coil springs at the rear. Four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors were standard equipment. New suspension and braking components are said to have been installed during the refurbishment.
The cabin features seats trimmed in replacement blue leather along with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes a center console with an armrest, a sliding rear-view mirror, a glove compartment, manual-crank windows, and lap belts.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock. Gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level are located in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2L twin-cam inline-six is equipped with triple SU side-draft carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. The engine was rebuilt during the refurbishment, and an aluminum radiator was installed along with a replacement wiring harness and electrical components.
Cylinder head stamping number 7E5412-9 matches the number listed on the chassis plate and the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox and a rear end with a 3.07:1 final drive. Replacement exhaust manifolds are fitted along with a stainless steel exhaust system, and the fuel system was refreshed during the 2020 work.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists factory colors and identification numbers as well as a manufacture date of August 24, 1965. The car is registered as planned non-operation in the state of California. A collection of photos taken during the refurbishment are supplied.
