Barrett-Jackson auction, Scottsdale, AZ, January 2003. Sports Car Market report reads:
"Matching-numbers car. Body stripped to bare metal, great panel fit, nonoriginal color, much renewed. Lots of detailing, polished carb dashpots. Only 50 miles since completion and without fault."
(Note: I believe this car was bid up to over $110,000.)

Correct and proper restoration to a series i e-type by classic showcase. The craftsmanship is superb as well as the fit. Perfection was our goal in restoring this original numbers matching roadster. In the restoration process the vehicle was on a rotisserie to make the bottom of the car as nice as the top. This show /driver e-type has never been offered for sale before. It has been restored to be sold at the barrett-jackson auction for sale saturday 1-18-03 at prime time. This is one of the finest xke roadsters for sale in the world today.
