Sellers description:
Late 1967 Series 1 Roadster. It is unique in that it is one of the very last Series 1 cars made. It has all of the Series 1 attributes except it has open headlights. It is not a Series 1.5 since its serial number is earlier than the serial number of the first Series 1.5, which is known to be 1E15889.

I bought the car in California a couple years ago where it had been sitting since 1974. I replaced the entire interior with the correct suede green leather. The carpets, doorpanals, dash pad and soft top were also replaced. I also had the engine and transmission gone over by a national JCA Judge Who does repairs and restorations.

The car is completely rustfree. All of the sheet metal and floors are original. The paint is over 30 years old and is a little tired with some crazing and cracking in places. The engine block, heads and trans are original. The car still has the factory crayon marks showing the chassis number on the firewall. There car also has a new stainless steel exhaust.

The chassis plate on the car reads as follows:
