Sellers comment:
Manufactured in 1968 and finished in Carmen Red with Black leather trim and Wire Wheels.
Good Points: Body restoration completed Aug 2001, Engine rebuilt by VSE Jaguar to full spec in Oct 2002, Tax Exempt, Oil change/filter head March 2003, Four new Pirelli tyres on chrome wire wheels (Curly Hubs), Webasto Sun Roof, S1 in every respect other than benefits from a S2 cooling system. (e.g. Twin fans etc.)
Bad Points: Some rubber bushes and UJ could probably do with replacing., Small split on dash covering, Driver seat recline needs attention.
Unique feature of this car: It¹s the very FIRST Original British RHD Series 1.5 E-Type with the chassis no 1E.21786 recorded in the Official Jaguar Manual, 'Electrical and Instruments', see Page P.X.s.29 ~ Fixed Head Coupe. One of only 172 made for the home market. This car has featured in the Meridian ITV programme, 'Classic Cars' screened in October'2001 and is sold with the DVD!
I have tried to give an honest account of the cars condition and will only accept a fair price. As a guide, JEC have placed a value on the car of £24,000.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
