This original right hand drive E Type series 1.5 Fixed Head Coupe was purchased by the vendor's family in 2006 from the previous owner who acquired the car in 1983. Between buying the car in 2006 and 2009, it was the subject of a cosmetic restoration keeping it in the original colour of Opalescent Silver Blue. Since the restoration, the E Type has only covered 400 miles having been taken off the road in 2010 and then again in 2012.
Recently taken out of storage, this E Type has been fully re-commissioned which has included new H/T leads, carrying out an engine service, fitting a new header tank, replace the coolant, fitting a new battery and a full check through for the MoT test. This series 1.5 Fixed Head Coupe, finished in very dark blue leather is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in March 2018, a Jaguar Heritage certificate and a copy of the invoice pertaining to the recent re-commissioning work carried out. This is a very good example of the much sought after right hand drive, desirable series 1.5 Coupe.
