Listed for sale on the JCNA web site. "1965 Jaguar E Type Series I Coupe Red/Black ■■■■■. An outstanding award winning E Type. Matching numbers. Perfect mechanically and cosmetically. 69,000 original miles. I have owned this car for 4 years. I purchased it from a retired commercial airline pilot from Boulder who emigrated to Canada several years ago. He had owned the car for many years having purchased it from the original owner, friend and fellow pilot. The car was in excellent condition when purchased and I improved the car to a JCNA show Driver category scoring 9.983 at it's last show. I have recently spent $20,000 to bring the engine compartment up to JCNA Championship standards. I am confident it will score well in upcoming concours. I have owned 13 E Types over the past 25 years and this is one of the best as I have utilized knowledge from previous restorations. The engine compartment restoration can be Googled at "Owen Automotive Canada" Jaguar. Mike Owen and his son are the restorers and know my car well. Price includes - original tools, jack, Thor hammer, manuals, car cover and Heritage Certificate." Many pictures of the engine compartment restoration on the Owen Automotive Canada web site.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
