My current E-Type is my third. I bought a new '64 FHC and another 64 FHC in '67. My wife bought me the current FHC which is a Series 1, '67. It was a rusted out hulk when I received it. The engine and tranmissionwere both missing. There was no upholstery, no chrome (it had been parted out and the frame rails had been bucharded up in an attempt to install a V-8. After five years of work the car is now my driver. It has a Ford V-8 and 4 speed transmission but
looks stock in every other way. I just consider myself lucky to be able to have resurrected this pile of rust from ending up in the scrap heap .
