Bought in Aug 07 as a "driver" to replace 1E31495 sold for restoration to Gullwing. After 18 months work on electrical, hydraulics, engine rebuild, 6 branch headers and big bore exhaust in st. st., 5 speed conversion, modern R134a A/C and new 185/15's, it's now a much better "driver".

Came with series 1-1/2 hood assembly in 07, probably not original by build date, and converted to covered headlights with kit from Stefan Wahl in Germany. Not easy to do but definitely worth the effort. Also came with a "Carolina Jaguars" in the hatch window as it spent time from about 97-03 in Little Mountain SC. Any history would be appreciated.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
