The example offered here is very suitable for a buyer who wants to drive an E Type in the way it was originally intended. And of course to be able to enjoy this artwork when parked in the garage. This E Type was completely body off expertly restored just a few years ago. After being stripped, the rust free body was repainted. It was fitted with new rubber seals and all chrome work was renewed. New chrome wire wheels were fitted and the interior re-trimmed with original materials. Technically the restoration went through everything, with all mechanical parts either overhauled or renewed. The result is a beautiful and like new driving Series 1, equipped with the original engine and gearbox and fitted with three carburettors, so delivering 265bhp. Photos and invoices of the restoration are available. An appraisal report from 2023, indicates a value of 150,000 euros, and endorses the quality of the restoration. The car has Dutch registration, and is ready to drive.
