Fahrzeugbeschreibung
From its first public appearance in 1961, the E-Type Jaguar was an instant icon which would redefine the notion of Sports Car. With undeniable beauty and revolutionary performance, its appeal was universal, and few have matched it ever since.
Princess Grace, Steve McQueen, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Count Basie, amongst other figures of the time, all had an E-Type. Enzo Ferrari called it "The most beautiful car ever made".

It was The Car to have, and it still is.

The car we present you is a magnificent Matching numbers 1967 Series1 4.2 Fixed Head Coupé.

Chassis number 1E 34302 left the production line in March 15 of 1967, to be delivered to the Portuguese distributor Martins & Almeida. By the turn of 2004, the car underwent a full restoration, which ended a few years later. It has been kept in a private collection ever since, attending shows sporadically.

Originally Cream color, after restoration the bodywork now shines in beautiful Carmen Red, flawlessly complemented by glazing, chrome and lighting equipment in stunning shape.

Looking inside, one must appreciate the amazing condition of the interior. Black leather always makes a stark contrast with the red body color, and in this condition it's a joy to look and feel. Carpeting, roof lining, sun visors, are in pristine condition, as are all controls and the distinctive wood-rimmed steering wheel.

Mechanically, the 265 BHP 4.2 Liter engine fires into life effortlessly and all this power and torque is smoothly transmitted through the gearbox and differential, allowing the driver to truly appreciate this matching numbers combination.
Road holding is a delight, and the most original it can get, with correct parts down to the specific Dunlop 6.40 × 15 inch RS5 tyres.

There is a comprehensive photographic record of the restoration, Production certificate and Vehicle instructions Manual, provided by the actual owner.

Price: €127,500
