Current bid $2,550 reserve not met, 2 bids, 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $24,500. 87k miles.

    Sellers description:
An extremely nice example of a low mileage, totally rust free Jaguar XKE 2+2. Reluctantly offered for sale due to lack of space by only its second owner from new. This car has receipts along with photographs for over 23K from XK'S Unlimited for a full mechanical going over. Repairs include, fully rebuilt engine, (about a 1000 miles ago) Carb overhaul, full suspension rebuild - using upgraded bushings, right space frame replacement (original found to be cracked) new wiring harness, steering wheel, exhaust system , high output alternator conversion finished off with a new set of wire wheels fitted with a nice set of Michelin tyres. Starting easily from cold it has plenty of power and the gears shift nice and firmly. On the road it has very good manners. The steering crisp and sharp the ride firm yet forgiving. The gauges all work along with the major electrical items, the windshield washers, map and interior lights, heater fan do not. The clock has had a plastic face fitted in place of the glass. The heater functions seem to operate, somewhat unusual for one of these cars, however the AC compressor was removed many years ago. This could be reinstalled with some work, but the vent assembly has been damaged when the original radio was stolen in the late 70's, see picture. The car does not overheat and the modified alternator more than keeps up with the batteries needs. It has a good spare in the trunk along with the original jack etc. Mechanically the car is in very good condition although it does have some oil leaks. The interior is in very good shape the leather being nice and supple and it has a new headliner fitted. The car was repainted in the original primrose yellow in the early 90's and it was quite a nice job, having a very nice depth and glossy finish. All the Chrome is extremely nice however the outer door window rubbers could do with replacement. The floors and body are completely rust free, this car has not seen any harsh weather being pampered in southern California all of its life. This car is very complete, very low mileage and it turns heads wherever it goes.

Current bid $5,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 4 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Birmingham, Alabama. 87k miles.

    Sellers description:
I bought this car in late 2007 to add to my Jaguar collection. I am the third owner since new. The other two owners lived in California. The last owner used it as a daily driver. With one very small exception (see photo of surface rust near below back hatch), the car is a totally rust free. I have keep it garaged since I purchased it. The car has a 4.2 liter engine and an automatic transmission. The second owner spent in excess of $23,000 with XK's Unlimited for a full mechanical going over about 18 months before I bought the car. Repairs included a fully rebuilt engine (about 1,500 miles ago), carb overhaul, full suspension rebuild, new wiring harness, new steering wheel, exhaust system, high output alternator conversion, new set of wire wheels fitted with a nice set of Michelin tires. The gauges all work along with the major electrical items. The windshield washers, map and interior lights do not work. The clock has a plastic face fitted in place of a glass one. The heater functions, but the A/C is inoperative. The A/C compressor was removed many years ago. This could be reinstalled with some work, but the vent assembly was damaged when the original radio was stolen in the late 70's. Mechanically the car is in good condition, but it does have some oil leaks. After all, it is a British car. The interior is in good shape. The car was repainted it's original primrose yellow color in the late 90's. It could use an good buffing and wax job. All the chrome is nice. The outer door window rubbers do need to be replaced. I have not driven the car in several years. Before the car is driven again, it should be given a tune-up and it's fluids changed.
