Die Motorhaube war vormals modifiziert worden und der Optik der Serie 1 nachempfunden. Die Chromraeder sind relativ gut. Es wird noch eine bessere Stosstangenhaelfte hi. li. und eine Grillstrebe zugelegt werden und auch die Scheibenwischer sollten sich noch finden lassen. Bei dem Angebot sollte das mit Abstand der billigste E Roadster sein. Das Fahrzeug ist auf dem Weg aus USA zu uns und wird vorraussichtlich ende Juli bei uns auf dem Hof stehen. Gerrn kann ich noch weitere Bilder zukommen lassen. PS. Ein neuen Verdeckbezug habe ich gleich mirtbestellt.

Current bid $38,301.07 reserve not met, 25 bids 4 days left in auction. I have questioned the seller explaining there is another car with this VIN. He has repeatedly confirmed his data plate and picture frame match this VIN. There is clearly a problem here but listing the second car as a contender for the VIN until this can be resolved, if ever.

1970 Jaguar Series II OTS. Finished in Carmen Red over Black Leather, the car turns heads wherever it goes. Evidenced by its condition and performance, the car has been lovingly cared for by three Southern California owners, always garaged and professionally maintained. The car is an absolute joy to drive, starting right up without any smoke or hesitation and pulling strongly and smoothly through each of the gears. Its original 4.2 Liter engine has absolutely no proclivity towards overheating or other concerns and was perfectly trustworthy on a recent 400 miles trip up the coast. The paint is in great shape, retaining plenty of depth and luster and marred only by exceedingly minor imperfections, none of which even appeared in the pictures. The body is straight, all of the gaps and fits are correct and the car is free of rust, in both the body and its undercarriage. PLEASE NOTE that the car had an incorrect antenna that we removed just before we photographed the car. The correct antenna has since been installed. The knock-off wire wheels are in excellent condition and they're wrapped in tires with plenty of remaining tread. The interior is in great original condition, showing only minimal wear to the original leather seats, panels and carpets. Everything works as it should on the dash and the car's convertible top is in excellent condition with a clear rear window and a great tonneau cover.
