A rare red on red combination and the seats are completely original.
The current owner has had this car for over 25 years and bought it from the original owner.
A book is included with the sale that has a log of mileage and price for each tank filled from this first owner.
The exterior of the car shows well with an older repaint. Although there are some light scratches and small chips from normal use, it exhibits nice condition.
Front and rear valence areas have a few scuffs but otherwise have nice paint.
The chrome around the windshield, across the top of the doors, around the rear window, and luggage rack is presentable with shine.
Front and rear bumpers have pitting but are straight with no significant dings.
The rubber seals around these bumpers are warped and crumbly.
The front windshield and side window glass has no cracks or significant scratches noticed.
The cloth top is tight to the frame and in great condition. The rear plastic has no rips and visibility is good. The top material is canvas.
The interior is complete with a working speedometer, tachometer, battery, oil pressure, temperature, and fuel gauge. The instruments all show well.
The dashboard has no cracks and is not faded.
The original seats are worn and will need to be re-dyed. Rear tray area and door panels are also faded.
The hood latches on passenger and driver side work as they should. Windows roll up and down and inside / outside door handles open their respective doors.
The rubber around the windows has plenty of flex and is soft. The seals around the doors are complete but the condition is not as good as the rest of the vehicle.
The headliner shows well and the steering wheel has a nice feel with no splintering in the wood.
A Blaupunkt cassette radio is present.
All wheel wells show to be solid and the arches look good. There is some light bubbling at the bottom of the rear arch lips.
Driver and passenger side rear floors are structurally solid and have no issues noticed.
The driver side front floor has had some patchwork at some point. This location is a square area that is best shown in the pictures. There is some light rust at this location under the carpet. The passenger side is in better shape but may have had some light work done.
The floor under the gas tank and original spare wheel is solid.
Driving this car is a thrill. It starts right up, idles smooth, revs freely, and engages in gear with ease. The clutch holds well and shifting between the gears is excellent.
This car feels solid on the road. The suspension is tight and the car handles nicely around turns. The brakes grab straight and the car has wonderful sound and feel. There is plenty of power and acceleration.
The emergency brake is operational.
This car comes with the jack and hammer. Also included are the series II operating, maintenance, and service handbooks.
This car is a great driver that is sure to please its next owner.
