This example was owned by a couple until recently who purchased it when it was only a few years old. After taking it on a number of trips, it saw little use for the next several decades. They used on sunny days to run an errand here or there, but for the most part it stayed in their garage.

When we purchased it, it was running but had a bad battery and needed some TLC to be road worthy. We have done little to the car and are selling it in much the same condition as found. while it is a very sound original example, it will need restoration work to be a reliable driver again. The car starts, runs, drives and stops, but will need work. The tires for one are very old and need replacement.

The paint and interior are older but would benifit from cleaning and detail if not being redone, depending upon your expectations. It does not appear to have been in any accidents or recieved in any real damage. I do have records from the last owner including proof of mileage and repair receipts.

A very clean series 2 E type, this has been sat in a garage for 20 years. Very low miles (41586) and long ownership. Matching numbers car. Heritage certificate ordered can be viewed in the pictures. This will be supplied with a NOVA certificate and all UK taxes have been paid. Factory air conditioning which is rare. This lovely example starts and drives and stops, pretty impressive considering it has been in dry storage for over 20 years. After a bit of tinkering you could be driving this car very soon.

Very little work to pass the MOT. All the lights work. The washer pump works but the pipe has perished. The wheels are like new. The hood is in superb condition. The paintwork is very bright and useable, however if you want a show condition car you will need to get it refreshed. The seats are useable as they are. Obviously it would be best if you can come and view the car for yourself. It is a 46 year old car that requires a little bit of t l c.
