For sale at Autostorico of Bourne End for £99,950. Seller's description below.
www.autostorico.co.uk/cars-for-sale/jaguar-e-type-4-2-series-ii-roadster

The Jaguar E Type 4.2 Series II (registration TCR890H) offered here at Autstorico is an original matching numbers (chassis 1R1324) example finished in British Racing Green with Beige leather interior. Having been supplied new by Henlys London and first registered on 10th November 1969 this four owner example has covered a genuine 102,748 miles. Purchased by its third owner in 1994 this very original E Type underwent a complete mechanical overhaul including an engine rebuild in 1998. Further restoration took place in 2003 that included a complete re-spray, interior re-trim and bright work.

Now offered for sale due to the current owner rationalising his collection I would describe this as one of the nicest E Type's I have driven. Offered for sale with a current V5 registration document, current MoT and substantial history file including invoices back to 1980, original Jaguar information sheet and a copy of Philip Rufers E Type book in which TCR890H features. A truly unique opportunity to own such a stunning example of a true British classic which will certainly appreciate over time.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
