For sale at Historics auction 7th June 2014
www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2014-06-07/car/1985-jaguar-e-type-series-ii- ...

1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster
Registration CLC737H
Chassis Number 1R1333
Engine Number 7R70709
Estimate £40,000 - £45,000

Originally supplied on 16th October 1969 this is a genuine UK supplied righthand drive roadster. The current vendor has owned CLC737H for the last 29 years and due to lack of suitable storage space; has decided it is time to part with the Jaguar. To be expected of a car in the ownership of one owner for such a long time, the history file is substantial and this is a perfectly useable E-Type, for a modest outlay in today's market place. The white coachwork is in good order, as is the trim. We are advised the car drives "as she should" and with summer upon us, this could be the perfect car to buy. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate this 4.2 Series II Roadster is sure to attract interest.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
